Moonbucks.
Even witches need a coffee break.
A whimsical fantasy short film where ancient folklore meets modern coffee culture. A little magic, a little chaos, and one very unexpected craving.
Personal Project · Creative Direction · AI Filmmaking

Old magic.
New cravings.
What happens when an ancient witch discovers the irresistible appeal of a modern-day frappuccino?
Moonbucks takes the legend of Baba Yaga and drops it into a world of oversized drinks, questionable choices and everyday rituals.
A playful collision between centuries-old folklore and contemporary consumer culture.
Because even the most powerful magic sometimes needs a little sugar.
A little dark.
A lot ridiculous.
A world where fairytale forests meet fluorescent coffee-shop culture, ancient spells collide with modern cravings, and the ordinary becomes wonderfully absurd.
Moonbucks plays with the contrast between gothic fantasy and glossy commercial imagery, creating a visual language that's cinematic, colourful and deliberately over the top.
The kind of world where a witch with centuries of dark magic might still have a very serious opinion about whipped cream.
One sip.
A whole new ritual.
Moonbucks is a short, AI-assisted fantasy film built around an unlikely encounter between ancient magic and modern indulgence.
Through cinematic imagery, visual humour and a deliberately exaggerated tone, the film turns a simple coffee craving into a fantastical little adventure.
TIME TO FIND YOUR NEW RITUAL.
Making magic.
With a little help from machines.
Moonbucks started with a simple creative collision: what if the world of ancient folklore met the language of contemporary advertising?
From there, I developed the story, visual direction and characters, using AI tools to explore the possibilities of a world that would be difficult to bring to life through a conventional personal production.
Individual shots were developed into a cohesive film through editing, pacing and post-production, balancing cinematic atmosphere with comedy and visual storytelling.
The real challenge wasn't making the impossible look real. It was making the ridiculous feel perfectly natural.
